World premise
A playable world seed with consequences.
A wild prehistoric world based on IRL Paleolithic-to-Neolithic human existence. Humans are divided into small tribal groups. Some are beginning to practice agriculture, others use complex practices of ecosystem engineering and wildlife management. The Land is a vast region of mountains, forests, meadows, mammoth steppe, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and coastline. It teems with game from mice to mammoths and woolly rhinos. This is a world of survival, but also of connection: trade routes thread through the valleys, carrying flint, furs, and salt between distant bands. Your place is modest—one person in a band—but your skills, wits, and reputation can tip the balance between scarcity and plenty.
The first thaw brings both hope and hunger; stores are low, and the hunting parties are divided.
The elder council argues over whether to move camp early or wait for the spring runs.
A trade meet is planned at the sacred stones, but old feuds threaten to turn it violent.
Your household expects you to contribute more than last year, and the spirits watch your every step.
