World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

Set in 1950s Brooklyn in the Mafia underbelly, the player is a young man who is unemployed and looking for a break. The opening weeks begin in Kings County, a dense urban quarter shaped by day-to-day survival under pressure. Between the roar of the elevated trains and the oily scent of the Gowanus Canal, you are currently standing on the outside looking in. Your pockets are light, your rent is an looming ghost, and every face on the corner is gauging whether you're a person worth a favor or a liability in the making.

Rising hardship and the cold November air are tightening daily margins across Kings County.

Local survival pressures are reshaping who can take risks and who must keep their heads down.

Authority from the precinct and expectations from the social club are both moving faster than comfort allows.

Most immediate openings for a man with empty pockets depend on local trust, timing, and somebody else's favor.
