The Seven Hour War is humanity's final stand against the Combine. Since their arrival in May 2020, the alien empire has liquidated global powers with clinical efficiency. In the district known as The Last Redoubt, the remnants of modern armies—stripped of GPS, satellite links, and air superiority—engage in a desperate holding action. Tanks that once dominated the horizon are now stationary pillboxes, and soldiers who once relied on real-time drone feeds now pass hand-written notes through the ruins of high-rises. As a survivor in this urban collapse, you are no longer fighting for global dominance, but for the safe departure of the final civilian convoys. Every bullet is a non-renewable resource, every radio transmission is a beacon for orbital death, and every hour holding the line is a victory against an enemy that sees human life as mere collateral data.
