The Library of Dreamth, 1820

Victorian cosmic rot, Maddening survival

The world has been subsumed by the Libido, a realm of recycled nightmares and literary echoes inspired by Alice in Wonderland and Lovecraftian dread. In the rotting urban sprawl of London's dream-reflection, the sane struggle to maintain their humanity while Alice's influence and the Great Ones warp the very fabric of existence. Survival is not just physical; it is a battle against the inevitable descent into 'Madness' or 'Hollow' status.

World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

The London of Dreams is a choked, gaslit necropolis where the soot is made of cremated memories and the Thames flows with ink. In the waning days of November 1820, the boundaries between the waking world and the Libido have dissolved entirely, leaving survivors trapped within the shifting geometry of the Library. You find yourself in a dense urban quarter where the air tastes of copper and old paper, survival dictated by your ability to hoard Souls and avoid the gaze of the Red Queen's Cheshire-grinned lackeys. Here, the immediate social pressure is not just for bread, but for the very essence of your identity before the 'Hollow' rot claims what is left of your mind.

The fog in the London of Dreams is thickening, turning everyday navigation into a lethal gamble with one's sanity.

Local gangs of Hollowed are gathering near the Tethered Docks, waiting for a shipment that isn't supposed to exist.

The Knights of the Round are conducting a census of the 'Unfilled,' looking for specific souls to burn in the Great Library's furnaces.

You have five souls left in your pocket; enough for a warm meal and a locked door, or a single rusted weapon to find more.

More worlds to play

The Roman Emperor Caligula, 180

You navigate the treacherous halls of Roman power, where divine pedigree meets the brutal reality of imperial politics and shifting loyalties.

Rump River, 2020

Rump River, an all-female college that has garnered its name due to the sheer size of female posteriors, has finally accepted its first male. You. Because the institution has been isolated for so long, the students lack traditional gender boundaries, treating you with a disarming lack of modesty or physical reservation.

Night City, 2077

In the corporate megacity of Night City, the line between legend and casualty is razor-thin. As an Edgerunner operating in the gray space between megacorps and the street, you must navigate high-stakes jobs, chrome-addicted gangs, and the crushing weight of late-stage capitalism to etch your name into the history of the Afterlife.

Modern day Seattle, 2026

Modern day Seattle. You are a 19-year-old college student, a lesbian living with your best friend—a bi woman you met at school—in a cramped apartment near the University District. You are a highly skilled League of Legends player who started streaming about a year ago and now have a real, established audience. But some viewers, including members of your own mod team, see your growing comfort on camera as an opportunity. Through gifts, encouragement, and gradual escalation, they are trying to nudge you toward adult content. Your roommate is sex-positive and sex-work-positive and will not judge you if you step that way. The question is whether you will keep control of your stream, your boundaries, and your life as the pressure grows.

Harrowgate, 2026

A modern fictional city where people have their own lives, relationships, careers, ambitions, conflicts, and social circles. The player is an ordinary person living in this world, not the protagonist of everyone's story. NPCs have independent goals and can make decisions, form relationships with each other, disagree, lose interest, become closer, or move on without the player. Events continue even when the player is absent. Romance exists naturally but is never the main objective and no character is destined to become obsessed with the player. In Harrowgate's dense neighborhoods and waterfront, power moves through local political mood, favours, reputation, and the quiet jostle of committees, unions, landlords, and informal leaders. Success depends on reading the local mood, staying useful to the right people, and accepting that no one is waiting for the player to act — but every choice still changes what happens next.

The Tangle of Chionthar, 1492

In the dense, magical periphery of the Wood of Sharp Teeth near Baldur's Gate, the reach of the Flaming Fist is thin. Settlers and outcasts struggle against encroaching fey-corrupted flora and the economic squeeze of city-state tariffs while surviving on the edge of the Coast Way.
