The First World, -1000

First step into ten galaxies, survival on a new world

The First World is the starting point in a universe of over ten galaxies. It is a land of dense forests, towering mountain ridges, and a single peak where ten rivers begin. Vast grass plains hold two lakes fed by two rivers, and immense deserts conceal four oases fed by hidden groundwater. All other rivers run to the sea. Five distinct races live here under a fragile neutrality, each ruling a separate region with its own laws, religion, and culture. Every race must build and protect its territory from the others, creating everything from scratch. The Brackwater Coast is one such frontier, where survival, rivalry, and the weight of beginnings press on every inhabitant.

World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

Welcome to the First World, the starting point of a journey across more than ten galaxies. This world is a land of dense forests, towering mountain ridges, and a single great peak where ten rivers are born. Vast grass plains stretch between the mountains, cradling two lakes fed by two rivers, while immense deserts hide four oases fed by hidden groundwater. All other rivers wind through the land to the sea. Five distinct races share this world under a fragile neutrality, each ruling a separate region with its own laws, religion, and culture. Every race must build and protect its territory from the others, creating everything from nothing. You stand on the Brackwater Coast, a frontier where survival, rivalry, and the weight of beginnings press on every inhabitant. The year is -1000, and the spring tide brings not only ships but hardship, rumor, and the constant pressure of making do.

Rising hardship is tightening daily margins across The Brackwater Coast.

Local survival pressures are reshaping who can take risks and who cannot.

Authority, rumor, and household expectation are all moving faster than comfort allows.

Movement offers opportunity, but every outward step carries visible risk.

Sol's Silence, 2247

In 2247, the Solar System fell into absolute radio silence. Every colony from the Venusian clouds to the Titan shipyards ceased transmission in a single hour. As Commander of the Eos, returning from a twelve-year Oort mission, you are the last living witness to a dead system. You must navigate the ghost-hulls of Earth, Luna, and Mars to determine if the cause was a viral extinction, a cosmic intrusion beyond human comprehension, or if the alien signatures detected in the belt are hunters or merely scavengers of what we left behind.

The Bewitched Hamlet of, 1348

Oakhaven is a gilded cage where 14th-century survival is sabotaged by a Witch’s fetishistic whims. She maintains total rule by magically rewriting the bodies and minds of the populace into short, ditzy, and weak 'pet' versions of themselves. Farmers become udder-burdened 'cow-girls,' warriors become helpless 'dolls,' and the town’s infrastructure collapses as the inhabitants lose the strength and wit to maintain it. Newcomers are trapped instantly, destined to become the next themed experiment in the Witch’s living dollhouse.

Aurelius Prime, 1820

A war-torn planet in the outer-rim of the universe, where the Terran Empire fights against several different alien forces. The planet wasn't abandoned because of its rich resources; it's probably one of the richest planets based on resource depots in the galaxy. Life in the urban centers is a grind of heavy industry beneath planetary shielding and the constant fear of orbital bombardment.

The Clone Wars, 7956

You are a force sensitive human living on Coruscant 21 years before the battle of Yavin. Anakin Skywalker is still a Jedi and the Republic is in a drawn out battle against the Trade Federation and the Sith. Navigating the dangerous depths of Sector 1313, you must balance your awakening powers against the crushing weight of the Clone Wars. Opportunities await to join the Jedi Order, serve the rising Sith shadows, or find profit within the Hutt syndicates.

Jakarta Freshmen Reality, 2024

You are a 19-year-old freshman in Jakarta, Indonesia, possessing a mysterious software that allows you to alter your own physical, financial, and social data. While the software provides a 'digital edge' for seduction and self-improvement, you must still navigate the concrete realities of university life, traffic-heavy commutes, and the strict social hierarchies of the capital. Balance the pursuit of affection and high status with the practical demands of rent, grades, and survival in a city that never stops judging.

The Steerage Restoration, 1894

You were once the master of your own kitchen in Ireland, but the failures of the Old World have driven you to the docks of lower Manhattan. Arriving in 1894 with the culinary skills of a restaurateur but the legal status of a penniless arrival, you must navigate the brutal competition of Five Points and the Waterfront. Your goal is to regain your dignity and perhaps, eventually, own a stove of your own again in a city that views you as just another mouth to feed.
