World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

Jerusalem, spring 1186. The city crawls with refugees and nervous whispers. Saladin's armies tighten their grip on the roads, and inside the walls, every hand reaches for a weapon or a bribe. You arrive in the teeming quarter near the Jaffa Gate, where the stench of fear and dust mingles with the clatter of distant siege engines. No one trusts a stranger, but everyone needs someone who can read letters, count rations, or carry a message without losing it to a patrol. Your first task: find a place to sleep, a reason to stay, and someone willing to pay for what you can do.

Your immediate survival depends on securing enough food coins before the evening curfew.

A frustrated quartermaster needs a literate clerk to inventory dwindling supplies.

Your landlord offers to waive a week's rent if you carry a sealed letter to a contact near the Citadel of David.

A local moneylender is seeking a discreet runner with steady nerves to collect a debt from a soldier's widow.
