World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

The year is 1904, and the Iron Lattice—a colossal, self-repairing urban engine—is humming with an unfamiliar dissonance. You are an ordinary inhabitant of a world that feels increasingly like a calculated cage, where the rhythmic clicking of machinery beneath the streets dictates the pace of life. Within the soot-stained corridors of the Substratum, survival is a matter of maintaining 'Pattern Stability,' a bureaucratic measure of how well you fit into the Curators' grand script. Yet, rumors of 'The Source' are bleeding through the cracks in the masonry. In this simulated reality, knowledge is not merely power—it is the raw material of evolution. As you navigate the friction between crumbling infrastructures and the rigid social hierarchies of 1904, you begin to suspect that the glitches in the world are actually opportunities for those brave enough to rewrite their own code.

Rising hardship and leaking steam pipes are tightening daily margins across the Substratum Levels.

Local politics and household obligations are reshaping who can afford to take risks and who must remain 'Integrated'.

A corrupted Lore-Cipher has been left in your workspace; its vibrations are beginning to alter the physical properties of the objects around it.

The Guild of Provision is looking for 'Expedient Runners' to move goods through districts currently avoided by the Curators.

The Waking City, 2026

Modern New York is a city where magic is real, rare, difficult, valuable, and quietly integrated into society. Magic has no single universal system. It responds to disciplined ways of interpreting reality: ritual, science, law, art, faith, technology, crime, or business. As the city reaches critical symbolic density, the line between a legal contract and a binding ritual has dissolved, and the pressure of eight million competing ambitions is causing the mundane world to buckle.

France from 1910 to 1945

Beginning in 1910, France prepares for the industrial storm. As the timeline marches toward 1945, the player navigates the rigid social stratification of a nation at war. The lower class faces the meat-grinder of the trenches unless they can prove industrial utility; the middle class keeps the gears of the Meuse-Argonne turning or finds themselves in the secondary support lines; the upper-class elites command the economy and government from safe havens, their lives shielded by mahogany and influence. From the Belle Époque's end through the Great War and into the shadow of the second global conflict, status is the only shield against the mud.

Medieval Europe early 1400's, 1400

Medieval Europe, early 1400's. The city of Bruges, a bustling trading hub in the County of Flanders.

The Gilded Gutters of, 1432

A sprawling city where elves, humans, orcs, dwarfs, and other races jostle for survival in a web of ancient grudges and modern debts.

A magical alternate Earth, 1337

In a 1337 where humanity is but one of many sapient lineages—alongside the matriarchal Elephant-kin, the seafaring Dolphin-tribes, and the nomadic Corvid-clans—the world is defined by high-medieval survival. Lethal Aether-storms sweep the Ravaged Frontier, birthing warped monsters and shifting the landscape. Magic is rare and dangerous, seen as a burden of the 'Touch-gifted' who must guide their kin through a wilderness that is as sentient as it is hostile.

Rump River, 2020

Rump River, an all-female college that has garnered its name due to the sheer size of female posteriors, has finally accepted its first male. You. Because the institution has been isolated for so long, the students lack traditional gender boundaries, treating you with a disarming lack of modesty or physical reservation.
