World premise

A playable world seed with consequences.

The morning of June 6, 1944. Fog and smoke cling to the surf and shingle of Omaha Beach. You are a survivor—perhaps a soldier who made it off the beach, a wounded man, a medic, or a civilian caught between empires. The landing has turned into a brutal fight for every yard. Above you, the bluffs are studded with bunkers and machine-gun nests, and the beach is littered with wrecked craft, burning vehicles, and the fallen. There is no safe zone, only pockets of cover and the grim need to keep moving. Orders are garbled, units are scattered, and the sea behind you offers no retreat. In the shattered villages beyond the beach, the war is just as close, with snipers in the ruins and desperate civilians hiding in cellars. Your immediate goal is survival: find cover, find your people, and find a way inland before the defenders pin you down. The fog is lifting, and with it, the full horror of the day is coming into view.

The beach is a killing field; the only way out is up the bluffs.

Supplies and ammunition are dwindling, and every bullet counts.

The German defenders are well dug in, and their morale is bolstered by the slaughter they inflict.

Scattered American units are beginning to rally around informal leaders, creating pockets of resistance.
